About me

Hi, I'm Ben — welcome to my site.

I'm a freelance filmmaker and video editor with a genuine passion for crafting videos that feel alive, stories that connect, linger, and mean something. I studied Practical Filmmaking at the London Film Academy, and since 2012 I've been lucky enough to work across a huge range of projects: commercials, corporate films, music videos, and everything in between.

Over the years I've collaborated with some brilliant brands, including JustEat, GalaBingo, Xerox, Facebook, Tiger Tiger, and Satori Sushi, and built a network of people I'm proud to call both colleagues and friends.

My work has taken me to some extraordinary places. I've filmed at the stunning Serena and Voyager resorts in Mombasa, produced a Uganda Tourism film, and spent time doing wildlife filming and photography across Uganda and Kenya, getting up close with gorillas and chimpanzees in the wild, experiences that have genuinely shaped the way I see and approach filmmaking. I've also captured a deeply personal trip to see the mountain gorillas for clients David and Jude, been behind the lens for Tropicus World, and contributed to Sailing Lush, a YouTube channel following a family as they circumnavigate the globe with their young son.

Alongside all of that, I'm developing a feature-length documentary and a narrative feature film, both passion projects that are very close to my heart. And on the lighter side, I've been having a lot of fun with Shotgun Mike, an improv comedy short film that keeps me on my toes.

I'm always open to new projects and collaborations, so if you have something exciting in the works, I'd love to hear from you.
